Eliza Tanner is living a sad life in her world and time, her parents don't want her because she wasn't capable of giving them an heir for the family, a fact that drives Eliza from pursuing any guy at all. Being a huge anime fan also drove the guys away. Eliza's recent obsession, Thunderbirds Are Go and the character Gordon Tracy is all she can ever think about. When her parents want her out of the way for good, they arrange for her to die on a cruise ship that was set to travel an entire year. A few days into the trip, Eliza finds her ship crossing through the Bermuda Triangle in the middle of a storm. Her ship starts to sink as Eliza is teleported through time. She awakens 41 years into the future in the year 2059 and finds the ship had sunk. Trapped inside her cruise ship, she seeks help using the old radio, that's when she makes contact with Gordon Tracy of International Rescue who is 50 miles away from the Bermuda Triangle. Melanie Orenburg knew the Mechanic before he became the Mechanic, they met like every other couple, happened upon each other before slowly falling in love and getting married. The night of their honeymoon, they did what every man and wife does on their wedding night (Or supposed to) and within a few weeks they were already expecting their first child. Since they'd paid for two months vacation for their honeymoon they continued to travel around knowing this wonderful news. But all happy things come to an end. Melanie and her dear husband happen upon the Hood and his goons up to no good. Seeing that her dear husband was a brilliant engineer, he kidnapped them and took them away where he began his plans to brainwash her husband turning him into the Mechanic. It succeeds and he orders the Mechanic to make a machine that will make Melanie forget her husband. Unable to stop himself, he does and erases Melanie's memory of him completely. After her memory is wiped, Melanie is saved by Jeff Tracy and brought to Tracy Island as she was extremely malnourished even pregnant and because Brains knows her by reputation. They nurse her back to health and months later, Melanie gives birth to the very healthy Tracie Orenburg. Years later, Jeff vanished and the Hood returns bringing back the anger Melanie had for the Hood being responsible for her not remembering herself or the one she loves. Upon capturing the Hood, he refuses to give any information regarding Melanie's memory. That's where the story, truly begins.Concluida
