Tempers rise high, the heat even higher. Whether its due to the mid summer sun or the beauty of the southron queen, no one can say.

An strange invitation from the Lady of Light intrigues the Queen Nymeria but as she didn't part with the elves on good terms last time, she must tread carefully.

So, in her stead, she sends her Queensguard, a fierce swordswoman and fighter, to the land of Middle Earth to see what Galadrial wants, for she suspects the elves want more than just a reunion with old encounters.

However, rumours have spread that the Queen is actually a creature of Morgoth, an evil monster sent to stalk the world forever carrying out her masters bidding, making men and even elves shun her rule as Queen. But they did not know the even darker truth...

But then, the Woodland King catches sight of the woman worrior from a foreign land, with eyes of pure violet and hair as dark as night, and a certain prowess with a spear. If only he knew she was actually the Queen in disguise.

The first touch of her lips on his was like a taste of water after years in the desert..." The war of the ring is over. Lady Arden of Ardor belongs to an ancient line of powerful half-breed Elves. Rumors hint at what their powers could possibly entail but no one knows for sure. Some say they are clairvoyant and others proclaim them to be shapeshifters. Many say both. One thing is for sure; all of Middle Earth fears them. But the war could not have been won without their aid and now the cursed line is asking for acceptance. No longer do they want to wander the forests endlessly, moving from kingdom to kingdom as permanent nomads. Now they call for a meeting between the fellowships' 5 bloodlines, requesting a permanent lineage and kingdom. There are just 2 problems that hinder lady Arden from finally receiving the honor her and her kin deserve. 1. The kingdom they wish to call theirs borders Mirkwood forest. 2. The king of Mirkwood is not so inclined on being neighbors with cursed creatures, especially their queen. Raised to look down upon anything not of full elvish form, Thranduil is enraged by the audacity of the creature and her people who have plagued his borders for centuries. However many do not know that the 2 were once inseparable. Long ago the 2 elvish races lived in peace until tragedy struck. Ever since then, Thranduil has hated Arden and her people with a passion. When it comes down to the last vote, it is none other than Thranduil who holds their future in his hands. Will he take advantage of Arden in the process of deciding? Shadow of Mirkwood by elven-archer
34 parts Complete
In the heart of the cursed Mirkwood Forest, Legolas, the prince of the woodland realm, is haunted by an inexplicable feeling of being watched. Unbeknownst to him, his every move is shadowed by a female elf (I am not going to reveal the name), the enigmatic and fiercely skilled general of the Mirkwood army, who has vowed to protect her prince and her king - Thranduil. Legolas, however, remains unaware of her presence. Every midnight, she cloaks herself in secrecy and ventures out to meet him, masking her identity. Under the cover of darkness, she observes him carefully. Amidst the looming threats of darkness creeping into Mirkwood, the unlikely bond between Legolas and the general becomes both a source of strength and vulnerability. When news of the One Ring's existence and its devastating power reaches the woodland realm, Legolas, along with a fellowship of brave companions, embarks on a perilous quest to destroy the Ring and save Middle-earth from the clutches of darkness. In a tale of hidden identities, midnight meetings, and unspoken emotions, "Shadows of Mirkwood" explores the profound connection between two souls destined to protect their realm and, in the process, find solace in each other's arms. As they face the ultimate quest to destroy the Ring, their love becomes a beacon of hope in the face of overwhelming darkness. Will their love withstand the challenges of secrecy, duty, and the temptation of the Ring, or will the shadows that brought them together also tear them apart?
Queen Naehlara (LOTR, Legolas love story) by ardenswriting
50 parts Complete Mature
In a bed chamber high in the trees of Lothlorien is a young she-elf is sound asleep. "She will wake soon if Mithrandir is to proceed with his quest to Erebor. The darkness will grow, and she will awaken to fight it, like she did long ago." Galadriel says, turning to her husband and taking his hand. The she-elf is not as young as she seems, she had nearly faded when Galadriel found her at the beginning of the second age. The elf never woke, but the Lady of Light has foreseen it; Naehlara will awaken to help lead the elves, men and all free folk to peace, for she is the High Queen of the elves. The only living elf from the first age. Her fae grows stronger with every year bringing her closer to awakening. Galadriel once was friends with the elf, her father Thingol; king of Doriath before it was abandoned and forgotten as the first age elves left Middle Earth to go back to Valanor or faded with time. "I have longed to see my friend reawaken but how do you explain to one that nearly two ages has passed since she fell into slumber." Galadriel says, a small smile growing on her face. "She was a mighty warrior, the best in all of Middle Earth. But she was stubborn, not as wise as most elves. A lot more like our Woodland kin, the ones in Greenwood." Galadriel says, a laugh slipping through her lips as she remembers watching Naehlara fight in the wars long ago. How she'd argue with anyone that stood in her way, nearly taking the head off the captain of the guard when he would not head her warning of the armies coming from Morgoth. ✨NOT A HOBBIT FANFIC IT IS SET DURING LORD OF THE RINGS✨ A/N I do not own any character other than Naehlara and maybe more if I choose to add more. But probably just Naehlara. I'm newer to the fandom so please let me know if i got any facts wrong. I hope you enjoy the story Also maybe be slow updates due to work but I hope to put out consistently!
