because teisha has been crushing on him since they met. and the feelings are mutual. but they can't do anything about it, because macy has forbidden it. even without knowing their feelings.
when they arrive at their destination, after a day drive, they meet emmett. a bad boy, with a hidden soft side. macy can;t resist the charm that he emits; and she starts growing feelings for the slightly self-centered jerk.
however, teisha dislikes him and the girls end up fighting. about respect for each other's crushes. and then it gets spilt that cole and teisha have been going around behind macy's back, quite frequently, lately.
