Two Idiots and a Cape
When the resident villain Antennes found the hero NightHawk unconscious after their latest fight, he did what any villain would do, and took the opportunity to capture the hero. He expected the hero to fight back, lash out, probably kick his butt and escape, but he DIDN'T expect to find the hero wrapped snuggly in his cape, looking warm and adorable. Oh wow, was it warm in here? No actually, it was pretty cold, so why was his face hot? And WHY was his heart feeling like it was about to explode? You know what, he was just gonna let the hero go. This was too much. Now add in another psychotic villain bent on killing NightHawk, and things just get ridiculous.Complete
Being a Hero
Life with the Haven Team was simple: fight bad guys, keep villains in check, keep your identity secret, and above all don't cause a scene. When a superpowered assassin chases a target into the Haven's fair city, she heralds the beginning of something much worse than a simple murder case. My first go at an original story. Oddly enough, I didn't know which option frightened me more. *+*+*+* Lily Burdett has an unfortunate gift for getting herself into tricky situations, but her luck is especially bleak the day she finds herself in the destructive path of the city's premier supervillain. When he grabs ahold of her, she reacts without thinking and stabs him twice in the shoulder, only surviving the encounter thanks to a nearby hero who intervenes on her behalf. [Formerly Featured!] Coming back from a vacation, with a gun pointed at her head was definitely not what Jean Saunders expected. Especially seeing a man flying around in the air, claiming to be the city's superhero. At least he wasn't wearing that embarrassing spandex outfit. Alas, due to her capability for getting into trouble, the city's superhero eventually recognises her and not in a good way, at all. Catching a superhero's attention is never a good thing. -------------------------- Opening and closing his mouth, he made some gestures as if he was trying to speak but he couldn't find the words to convey his message. "...what are you?" He finally managed to speak and I blinked my eyes at him. The heck? Does he think I am some sort of...alien? It's not like I'm some kind of weird species!
