To Be Consumed

Caught under the immense pressure of life, a human's first and most primal instinct is to swim to the surface, to survive. But what about those who would allow themselves to be consumed?

Sygsbee Bassett is your every day high school Junior, except for one small glitch in the head; he lacks the will to live. This however, doesn't mean he thinks about killing himself 24/7.

Is he depressed? Sure, what high school student isn't?
Is he bullied? At a height of 5'4 and a weight of 200 pounds, most assuredly. Kids can be so mean
these days.
Is he suicidal? Well, that's complicated.

Although never having thought death to be an option, Syg knew that he wouldn't miss anything once he was gone. Or at least he wouldn't have if being "gone" meant being "six feet under" or "sleeping with the fishes", not "pulled into another world filled with magic and monsters."

After what was supposed to be a fatal accident, Syg finds himself in another existence, caught between the forces of good and evil. He must find a way to fight through a brewing storm, make some new friends, and find out how to get back to his own world!

Either that or throw himself off a really tall cliff. It doesn't really count as suicide since he should already be dead....... Right?
