He gave me a once over. "What's a beautiful girl like you doing sitting here by yourself." He asked. I rolled my eyes. Of course he would say something as cheesy as that. "She was enjoying her lunch before a nuisance interrupted her." I answered while unscrewing the cap from my water bottle and taking a sip. His stupid smirk fell off his face. "Well. That wasn't very nice." A smile had replaced the look he had before. I sighed and grabbed my water bottle and half eaten granola bar before pulling my backpack on and walking away from the table. ------- Lila is the new girl in school. She's shy, quiet and quite the artist. She's always been under the radar but ever since the school's player, Chris Nickels has taken an interest in her she just can't seem to get away from the attention, both good and bad. This story is y/n (you) falls in love with a football player (an oc of mine). More info: Y/N is a 16 going on 17 year old female, in her Junior year of high school. It's her first day at a new school, a random person Airdropped her something and they begin to chat. This mystery guy is 17 and also his Junior year and is a football player. She knows nothing about him so she's determined to learn more. What she finds out shocks her completely. Preview: "Y/n! Come on let's go!" "Yeah! You are going to make us late!" "God! I'm coming I'm coming! I just needed to grab something." I said walking out to them. "Is that a book?" "Yeah- I really need to know what happens! My head snapped up to get a look and I saw number 22 sitting up with one leg bent and the other laying on the ground. He seamed calm. "Alright, let's get you up," some one said kneeing next to number 22. "No no, I'm fine. Help them, they may be out, he is not responding to me." 22 insisted. Once the others heard this they ran to the other person, 85 from the other team. 22 glanced at the bleachers, briefly making eye contact with me, he then quickly looked back, almost as if doing a double take. I watched him watch me as he was about to press his fist into the big red button that read "Emergency Fire!". "You dropped this." I heard a husky voice say. I turned around to look at what I dropped and realized it was my schedule. I gasped. Damn, I would have been fucked if I'd lost it. I guess I didn't put it in my bag... I looked up to thank him, but ended up not being able to find my voice. He's really attractive. Drop dead gorgeous attractive. Hot. He has brown hair that is spiked up in a messy way and shiny chocolate brown eyes that are hard not to stare at. His jawline was firm and he is extremely tall compared to my 5'3" height; he seems like he's 6'1". He looks in good shape -- the white shirt he was wearing showed off his broad muscular chest.
