This is a story that I had an idea for during the 2016 presidential election. I didn't really get a chance to fine-tune this story until after Trump had won, and everyone was either elated or distraught.  Once you read this story, you'll probably get the message I'm trying to say about America's politics, because the main character is supposed to represent my true feelings about the whole ordeal. This story is basically a 5th grade version of how I see things.

These little hashtags pepper our lives. These are mine and how they represent me. At least that is how I wanted this book to be. It was to be a book of short articles using a hashtag as inspiration. However, it has grown and changed as I have. This book was birthed from my not-so-short social media posts. As I began engaging with people who don't share the same opinion as me, I dug deeper into trying to understand how I decided on my beliefs. I did some armchair research on Street Epistemology. It also forced me to ask whether my beliefs are consistent with my morals and ethics. This book is my contribution to the marketplace of ideas. Hopefully, it stands up to scrutiny.
