Everyone knows the kind of man Ryuichi Asami is, but they don't know what kind of man he was. In is early days of being a big time crime lord Asami wasn't has careful as he is today, and no one knows that better then a young women by the name of Makoto Yamane.

Yamane and Asami had to attended a gathering as a couple and some of Asami's enemies took the opportunity to strike against him, by going after his pretty subordinate. Yamane is injected with a paralyzing agent and then an aphrodisiac, its then that Asami is given instructions on what to do next. When Asami arrives he has to do the one thing he never thought he would have to do. He has to do the "deed" to save Yamane's life.

This ends with Yamane getting pregnant and having to go into hiding for the safety of Asami's heir, a son given the name Asami Ritsu. At the age of eight Ritsu if kidnapped by his father's enemies and a ransom is given or the child dies. Yamane is determined to get her son back even if Asami isn't, but Asami won't be taken for a fool. When Ritsu was found, he has a gunshot to his shoulder and is stuck in the hospital to recover.

Now a young man, Ritsu acts as one of his father's subordinate. He's one of his father's best, next to his mother. With all that happened Ritsu and Yamane are called in to protect Asami. But it's not Asami who they'll be protecting. Yamane is sent to protect Akihito Takab, Asami's new lover while Ritsu is sent to help a rival Chinese boss, Liu Fei Long. It's through their time together that Liu Fei Long see the charming side to Asami's heir.
