Kylie Patterson is a 3rd year high schooler in a simple school and live in a simple town, but she isn't your ordinary heroine.

Life at her home isn't very nice. After her parent's divorced, her mother became alcoholic and her big sister goes missing. For some of her school expenses, she works part-time at a bakery. 

Her friends are what keeps her going, but unfortunately, things doesn't always go well in her life. 

On that one afternoon, her whole life change, basically gone.

But can death really stop her from finding out who killed her?
