So many stories have been told of the dark fairy's motives and here is another one. Why did Maleficent curse Princess Aurora? I have merged facts from Maleficent (2014) and Sleeping Beauty (1959). Rights to Maleficent, Aurora, Stefan and the three good fairies, as well as the christening speech, go to Disney. The plot from 'Friends?' to the end is also Disney's.
