Mature
Let me tell you a secret. I am a horse shifter or as we call ourselves, eshifties. I know it's kind of lame but it is a mash-up of equine and shifter. Some of the horse shifters lose their ability to shift into their human side. As a result the shifting ability is becoming rare among horse shifters. Horse form horse shifters still have the parts of an actual shifter does, like faster speed than an average horse, mind link, etc.
My name is Moonlight. My parents are both horse shifters. My mother's name was Snowy and my father's name is Alpha Max. Yes I said Alpha. My parents are the Alpha and Luna of the Darknight Herd. In horse years I would be an adult horse to humans but I would be 16 years if I were human.
I was Captured by humans and then met my mate. Being chased by those who want to breed me I am forced to remain hidden from harm. Meeting people along the way trying to find a way home.

When the Cat's Away, the Mice Will Play. Except in my case, the "cat" is a wolf... and the "mouse" is me. Bianca Ashford, just your average human. But as for playing? Yeah, not happening. I'm not in the mood to celebrate. My return to California is a total disaster. It's like my karma tanked the second I crossed paths with those damn werewolves-one catastrophe after another, no break in sight. The people I love keep walking out of my life, and my world turns into a twisted grab bag of surprises. Spoiler alert: they all suck. Betrayals, shocking truths, attempted murder-take your pick. But the real kicker? My "forced vacation" in Oregon left me with way more than just trauma. And meanwhile, back in the neighboring state, an entire pack is probably hunting me down. Because while I'm doing everything I can to put this nightmare behind me, they sure as hell aren't forgetting me-or the bond that ties us together. For Hunter, their bossy Alpha, I'm not just some random human. I mean a whole lot more. And he has no intention of letting me vanish. With his blood brothers at his side, he's ready to do whatever it takes to track me down and, more importantly, protect what's his. Their instincts are sharper than ever, but their patience is running out fast. The wolves are closing in, my secrets are piling up, and I'm fresh out of escape routes. When my situation spirals out of control, I'm faced with an impossible choice. Can I make it out of this, or will the endless curveballs finally take me down? And more importantly... how long can I keep running? One thing's for sure: this game is far from over.
