Blakely and Kya were inseparable throughout elementary school, but things changed quickly in middle school when Kya made new friends and left Blakely behind. It wouldn't have been so bad if Kya had just left her alone, but Blakely became a target for Kya and her new crew. It got so bad for her that she only saw one way out, it didn't work but it did finally make her parents realize just how bad things had gotten for her.
After treatment, Blakely spent the next two years at a private boarding school but now she's back for her junior year and everything has changed. She's not the same four eyed, brace faced, overweight girl she was and it's up to her to decide if she wants to get even or just get on with her life.

High school is the period of your life where you feel older and independent. It's also the time where you're restricted and forced into a slim expectation by standards and norms. High school is the last bit of youth you have before you are let loose into the sticky web of life. Within your last years of schooling, your habits and behaviors are what determine if you are a fly or a spider (at least that's what some people say). Clare Carter and her new group of friends are kicking off the school year in a powerful way as they battle new conflicts and the process of becoming high school students and young adults. Each character has their own unique story and background that will represent how they take each situation that comes up. They must tackle drama that takes place at school and home, as well as survive the activities that Freshman get to experience (homecoming, clubs, heartbreaks/relationships, the stress of doing well in school and figuring out a plan after they graduate). This group of friends are scheduled for a wave of realization if they think they'll stick together throughout all four years of high school. This story is created with my OCs that I have fun drawing.
