McKenna is a 16 year old girl who's parents abandoned her at birth. She went in and out of orphanages for bad behavior, but sometimes the British folks she went to kicked her out because they couldn't stand the thought of havin a Scottish girl in their household no longer, so they would lie and make up stories of her bein violent towards the the other children in the home and put her in the but house and she lived there for a year and a half before she escaped to the circle of stones in Scotland near the battle of collodin. She heard that her 10x's great grandparents lived their, Jamie and Clair Frazer. In the first orphanage Mckenna went to, she found documents containing her families history. She wad interested in one specific document that foretold a story of the magic stone circle. She passed through the stones and ended up in what looked like a camp of people getting ready for a war. This story is about a girl who is running away from her next 'family' she is 24 and has been an orphan all her life. Her previous 'parents' don't trust her so they send her to another family. She ends up knocking on the first door she can find in a small residential area. Little does she know that when she meets the person at the door, her life is permanently changed and she finds the true meaning of 'family'.
