"I'm not capable of. Love!" My voice cracks as my eyes burn with tears. His beautiful crystal eyes fill with more and more hurt.
"Why can't you just let me in? Who fucked you up so bad? So bad that you can't even let me in? I've proven my love for you in so many different ways. Why can't you just love me back?" His voice wavers off into a whisper and that's all it takes.
The tears that I've tried so hard to hold in for all this time finally run down my cheeks. The pavement cuts my bare knees open when I can't hold myself up anymore but I just ignore it as I weep and sob my heart out. I catch myself on my palms cutting them open as well so I don't face plant as I stare at the blurred ground barley able to breath.
His familiar warm arms wrap around me as I'm pulled into him. I try. I try so hard to push him off but he just tightens his hold until I can't help but stop moving instead relax into his arms.
"I've proven I love you in so many ways. Why can't you see that I care for you. Just accept it." He mumbles into my hair. All that I can seem to return it with is a choked sob.
I've started crying and I don't think I can stop.
I've opened my trust for him and I don't think I can hold it back.
I'm just gonna end up hurt again.
I just need to die. I don't deserve to be depressed when so many people out there have it worse than me.
Maybe when he's not around I can finally do it. And succeed this time.
