Ito ay ang storya ng isang lalake na may pangalan na "Jacob Aguliar" o mas kialalang "Not" sa kwento. At isang Babaeng nag ngangalan na "Cassie Sullivan". Silang dalawa ay nagkita o nagkakilala sa kanilang iskwelahan at dito nag simula ang kanilang storya.
