Chloe Amare always thought she was different. The constant feeling of being monitored wasn't helped by the fact that her presence seemed intoxicating to the people in her life - they became open and willing to do anything for her. Only one person is immune to that, and it's her best friend Connor.
But when he meets a tall dark stranger who has Chloe's name written down on a list, her life is turned upside down.
Everything she knew is now a lie, everyone she knew is now a stranger, and everything she thought was impossible... well you get the picture.
