Hybrid: The Awakening
Nobody expects something supernatural to happen to them. Those kind of things only happened in comics. Fairy Tales. Unrealistic dreams that you'd fall asleep to, silently wishing for them to come true. At least, that was what these three teenagers thought. It turns out that there is so much more to their simple universe than they ever could have imagined. After each finding a strange alien artifact, the teens are suddenly thrusted into an intergalactic war. Alien species everywhere are trying to hunt down the most powerful weapons in the galaxy. And they are the ones in possession of it. When they run into a girl that claims to be from another planet, the three kids learn about the power given to them and the responsibilities that come along with it. Instantly, they are the most popular people in the galaxy. And for once, popularity couldn't feel more like a curse. Fighting grudges, fear, and distrust, the Chosen humans must travel to the one place on Earth where they might be safe. Life Or Story ?
This story kind of explains why I have problems finishing stories, u have ideas then it like how do I make them not so cliché or cringe worthy. A short story with a semi finished ending, it leaves me a bit of wriggle room to add to, if I decide to. Someday - A Short Story
Life was dull, boring, and mechanical. I’ve always wondered if this would change. If something interesting will happen. I always hoped something interesting will happen. A falling meteor that would destroy half of town, an alien invasion, or even the Apocalypse. Anything, just to relieve me of this monotonous life I lead. “Urgh,” I groaned as I reached over to turn off the alarm clock that sounded like a hundred sirens in the early hours of dawn. The golden sun hasn’t come out to expel the surrounding darkness yet. I figured it would take an hour more or so for the sun to show its shining face, so I decided to eat breakfast and take a bath first. But little did I know that today was the day that my life would change. It was the day I met her. ---------- A short story. Hey guys! This is my first try writing a pure romance story. With the impossible size of the universe, it shouldn't come as much of a surprise that there is life beyond just humans out there. Countless things have lived and died yet one stands above the rest due to the sheer amount of time it has lived. Almost since the beginning of the universe itself has it existed; a biological monster that would destroy and consume anything in its path. Planets, asteroids, entire stars even; whatever got in this things way wouldn't stay in the way for very long. It was a repetitive existence until one day the abomination met its match in the form of an absolutely enormous star. It ended with a draw that sent the abomination rocketing off in a random direction away from the place it had been consuming for so long. It traveled for millions upon millions of years before finally coming to a stop just outside of some odd new planet brimming with life. Along the way through space, it gained awareness of its surroundings so it was now able to choose what to do with this odd planet. Consume or Explore . . .
