From the beginning of time, light and dark played games with one another which led to wars between nations and in the hearts of those around. Mana, the string that connects all living and dead to one another saw this and tried to put an end to it for the two only drove the galaxies out of balance and caused chaos. The two were pulled in by the Mana and kept away, yet Mana decided it was unfair to keep both from the rest of the world. Dividing up the two Mana put some into each thing that lived, hoping that it might help take on the burden of what had become of the two. Every living thing had parts of light and dark, but some had more than others. Yet while the two were divided up Mana gave some of itself to those around, the people of the world discovered that they too could influence the flow of the world and used it for their survival. Nations started being engulfed by darkness and its hunger for more taking out light and its pure side. Mana had seen the unbalanced scale and shifted it by adding a new, reborn sibling to the two. A Monyec, one who could harness as much mana as they pleased to put balance back to the galaxy, but just like every living being it has an end to come to.
