This story is set many many years into the future, and continues the tale of Leonardo. Leo has been living in and learning about the Neath, a gargantuan underground abyss, which is mostly water. This huge expanse of sunless water is known as The Black Sea, and is filled with all kinds of weird and wonderful places, people, and things. Leo has become a sea captain, taking his own ship and crew on whatever adventures he sees fit. He generally operates out of Fallen London, which was the title given to London when it fell from the surface all the way to this deep cavern. Leo will encounter a myriad of new people and places as he journey's to see all that this parallel dimension has to offer.

This is the first draft of my new cyberpunk novel, The Electric Archipelago. In the future humanity is imprisoned by massive corporations. Computers are directly connected to their brains, creating a nightmarish state of absolute control, every action is monitored and harshly judged. Perhaps worst of all, the victim's perception of reality itself is controlled. A system of social credit hangs over everyone's heads. If you want to survive you will need to pick a company and stay loyal to that brand. But it goes beyond that, because each corporation has been infiltrated and taken over by forces that are interested in more than just profit. John is a Skinwalker, a free man, a man who is immune to these restrictions. He goes where he wants and does what he wants, moving from one augmented reality to the next, always looking for the next score.

I have sat often in front of the computer, and stared long at the screen without ever writing a word. The synopsis for this project has haunted me since the first person asked me "So, what is it about?", and to this day I have never been able to deliver a straight answer. This book is about a number of things, many of which do not fit evenly into a succinct description. I have tried to make them fit and have found the resulting descriptions ill-representing and dull. Thus, I have decided to go without a description. This book will fade into obscurity no matter what I put here, so I might as well write what's really important. Winter in a city is an especially punishing time. This book comes out of my late nights and early mornings riding the train, and my looking at the window and being able to make out nothing but the blur of the glass. From the outside it may look dead, but certain people know that the inner workings of a city are a true marvel to behold. In writing this, I have tried to capture that marvel and deliver it to you, the reader. This is a book about a city and the people within it. The rest is up for you to read, if you so choose. Yeah, I painted the cover although even I have to admit I'm not much of an artist and I'm still learning how to work that thing.
