The One Direction Fandom

Imagine you are living in a society where everything is bad, and your social life is going downhill, but everything will be okay because your main source of happiness is that clever, witty, funny, and good-looking boy band by the name of One Direction. This band, as everyone knows, was created by Simon Cowell when the boys had lost their chance in the individual part of the UK X-factor T.V. singing series. When they lost the X-factor, in third place, their fans did not give up in giving them their fame. We, as fans in every fandom, have a certain name that pertains to One Direction, The Directioners. This One Direction fandom is based off of the millions of fans, in every country, all over the world. Most of these fangirls have many in problems in their lives, but One Direction helps them laugh and become happy again. They have twitter accounts to associate with other members of the Fandom that know what they are going through and can relate to, and help them. The band is very busy with their social lives and careers. Being in the fandom that revolves around those five boys is like an emotional rollercoaster.
