John Laurens was always that one guy people thought they knew, though they didn't. He always flew solo because he had no friends and he never had the gut to make any, but like most people in high school, he had a crush on Alexander Hamilton. Yeah, John was gay, and he really didn't care about what others had to say about that.
Alexander wasn't the most popular kid, but he was a few levels above most students, and he was rising in popularity by the weeks.
He was cute, handsome, he had a great personality, and he never really hurt a soul. He was also bisexual which was great for John.
One day, he was looking through the internet, and found this something that would change his life.

Maria Reynolds was a one of the losers until one day when she helped the Schuylers and became part of their group, leaving her best friend, Theodosia, behind.

Aaron Burr hated social confrontation. Social anxiety was one part of him he wished he could change but it wasn't leaving any time soon. One day, a student commits suicide leaving a letter Aaron wrote to himself, looking like a suicide note. This way, Aaron changed the narrative to what really happened.

A Hamilton AU where everything is the same except Alexander is a woman and she marries Elijah Schuyler. For the most part it is told from Aaron Burr's perspective, but that might change for certain chapters. I made this simply out of curiosity, and because I watched too many animatics, plus I thought it would be interesting to see how the story would play out with a female protagonist. The character interactions, lyrics, and overall plot could be impacted in many ways, and I'd like to see how that goes. I'm basically converting lyrics into text, tweaking them based on the needs of the context. Feel free to comment on anything you like, any little mistakes that need fixing. Seriously, go wild.
