HUMAN EVOLUTION

What would you do if your life was brought upside down when you turned eighteen? What would you do if you were taken in a secret facility and had to undergo numerous of tests only to be placed in a cell? What would you do if everyone who you used to know completely forgot about you?

In the city of Polis all adolescents, when they turn eighteen are led to a secret government facility, Providence. They are tested and then separated into two groups, the inferiors and the evolved. The first group returns to their ordinary lives with no memory of what happened. What happens to the next group is the exact opposite. They stay locked up in Providence while everyone they know forgets about them. But they are the evolved, the next step of human evolution. They are the people with superpowers.

One girl manages to escape this hell hole, as the evolved called it. Of course, she didn't do this on her own. The man that was guarding her cell was sick of the organization's actions and decided to fight back. But only one managed to leave Providence. Her name is Laurel Lodge and she is one of the few evolved that live in a small community outside of the city.

It's been three years since then and Laurel has built a life with the Wanderers. That's the name of the community, at least in Providence files. But one trip to Polis will bring her life upside down once again. Not only will she see her sister being taken by Providence but she will stumble across the guard that help. The one she thought dead. The one that has no memories of her.

Everything will change, lives will be at stake, friendships will be tested and love has no place in a time of war. But at the end of the day, evolved or not, they're all human.
