Being seventeen is hard enough already without having the gift to see ghosts. Carter Mir has been able to see dead people since the time she was a kid, and has always hated it. Her mom seems to hate her, while her four other siblings can do no wrong, but then there is Carter--the weird, misfit who can't seem to please anyone. But when a ghost arrives in her room, claiming she was murdered, Carter knows she needs to help catch the murderer. However, in order to do that, she has to go undercover, not to mention befriend the suspect, in an attempt to find evidence. It's the perfect plan but things start to go downhill when she soon realizes she's falling in love...with a murderer.
