When the feared Supervillain Valcon learns that the new Superhero that he has been planning to kill is sixteen, all his plans for destroying the Superhero go out the window.
Now instead of fatal battles, there's lectures about safety and why he should be in school and not fighting crime. Instead of evil sidekicks kidnapping the hero, she is in charge of making sure he gets home safe. And instead of the villain pacing around his lair thinking of disastrous plans for world domination... this villain is screaming into his pillow while he sidekick rolls her eyes.

Petunia Poison smirked and placed a hand on her hip. "Whatcha staring at there, boy?"

Andy turned bright red. His eyes widened. "Noth-Nothing! I wasn't staring at anything!" He sliced his hands through the air like he was trying to ward off their cutting stares. "I was - I was just wondering how your...your leotard protects you. Not that you need protecting off course! I'm not saying that just because you're a woman you need protecting! I am all for the female side kick thing! Very...provocative - PROACTIVE! I meant proactive!" He broke off into a high pitched nervous laugh.

Valcon and Petunia exchanged slow glances.

"How old are you?" Valcon suddenly asked.

The Starlight Sentinels: The Amusing Story of a Struggling Superhero Team by JGrayDingler
8 parts Complete
A man, a woman, a boy, a girl, a demon, and an alien, all walk into a bar... THEY FIGHT CRIME! The Starlight Sentinels goes beyond The Watchmen's question of "Who would want to be a superhero?" by asking "Who would want to be a superhero if being a superhero was just another job people needed doing?" The Starlight Sentinels, that's who! They're not your traditional superhero team, and they're not the other guys either, nor are they the grizzled antihero type. Instead, they're just people who happen to work as superheroes in a world where being a superhero isn't so much a call to greatness as it is an eccentric career choice and super villains are just another problem that people try not to think about. Drawing inspiration from films such as Shawn of the Dead and TV series such as the Venture Bros, the Starlight Sentinels was crafted to be an amusing and occasionally action-packed adventure grounded by a diverse cast of humorous but relatable characters. You may laugh at their numerous missteps, but you'll also be cheering for these heroes and heroines hard-earned triumphs as well. Join this comedic costumed cabal in their debut adventure as they fight crime and battle the forces of evil anytime they're not stuck filling out forms for the police, trying to appease their overbearing corporate sponsor, struggling to gain recognition from an apathetic public, or arguing over whose turn it is to do the shopping in this hilarious tongue-in-cheek tale that takes on all things superhero! If you enjoy the first half of The Starlight Sentinels, you can pick up the full book on every major eBook seller, or order a printed copy from Amazon or Createspace.

Blog of a Teenage Superhero

39 parts Complete

"Who are you?" the supervillain asks. His breathless voice is surprisingly soft. I slam my hands on either side of him, leaning in so close my nose touches his mask. I'm the taller one. "It's 'Please Don't Kick My Sorry Butt,' but you can call me 'Too late, I Already Did.' " And I have to admit, that one I'm a little too proud of. ***Hey, hey! Now a Wattpad featured story!*** The superheroes are gone. For as long as Monet can remember, a league of superheroes has guarded her city. They were the citizens' idols, guardians, and best friends. Then, only months ago, those same heroes poofed, leaving the population at the mercy of a supervillain known as 'Masquerade.' As teen reporter and self-proclaimed defender of truth, justice, and the American way, Monet Jackson vows to do anything to find the heroes. And that "anything," unfortunately, includes taking a dip in a vat of toxic chemicals, being fired, and being hunted by Masquerade himself. But someone's gotta protect the city, and she might as well write a blog about it. *** WHAT'S INSIDE: 1 Kick-butt heroine +1 Love Triangle... or ...Love Quadrilateral... or...
