Rose has been friends with R. J. since Pre-Kindergarten. As the underdogs, they went through the bullying together. But in seventh grade drama came, and lots of it. Rumors spread, and the bullying intensified from one small group being the cause of their pain to the entire school. Then one day came when R. J. missed school for the very first time. After a full month and 63 unanswered calls, she went to his house to see why he left her to fend for herself. He answers the door, then gave her a look, and shut the door in her face.
