My finger pressed to my lip, I gave Owen a shaky smile, taking his hand. I could do this; it was only three strangers- people that were extremely important to Owen- that I was about to meet. That couldn't be too bad, right?

Owen opened the front door, and hand in hand, we walked in.

Jaws dropped as we entered the living room, confusion, amusement, even awe present in the onlookers' features. It was silent for a moment, before a colorful boy spoke up, his hand frozen on three black rings in his ear, his crystal blue eyes wide. "Uh... Mr. B? Who the fuck is that?"

Owen glanced over at me as I flinched, the corners of his lips twitching up, his eyes soft. "This is Sang. My soulmate."
