My Kingdom

The land was forever cursed with a never ending snow storm, and so the story that I am about to speak of, was 1000 years after this storm was started.

There was once a large Kingdom called the Kingdom of Lucian, ruled by King and Queen Lucia. There was a family in the village who were poorer than the rest, and thought to be outcasts. The mother was named Azura and the father Stefan. The pair of parents had a baby girl named Charmeine Aketura whom they said was the key to breaking the curse on the land.

The Kingdoms citizens thought they were crazy, and pushed them aside. They died in the snow storm which knocked their tiny, wooden house to pieces. Their daughter survived, and once she turned 20, she proved herself to the Kingdom, and made a barrier of warmth, stopping the storm around the Kingdom. The Kingdom rejoiced and thanked her for her kindness, vowing to protect her in return for her doing the same.

They made her their Queen and Guardian, to forever protect them from anything to come. One day, the Queen Charmeine married a man with unknown origin, and had two babies, twins. One names Amira and the other Damien. Amira immediately showed that she had powers, and the Kingdom celebrated, but cast Damien aside, as he did not show any evidence of having powers.

Once the twins turned 20, their mother was murdered by her husband, who turned out to be a dark spirit. The Kingdom made Amira their new Queen and Guardian, and banned Damien from the Kingdom, thinking he was a dark spirit, just like his Father. Damien did not object, and left the village.

Amira heard her brother was cast away, and horrified, she stopped the warmth barrier, and vowed to save her brother. The land once again fell into chaos, as an angered Guard killed Amira.

No one ever knew if Damien truly died. Or Charmeine for that matter...
