"I just don't understand, Chat. I thought...all this time...," she clenched her fists at her sides and stared up at him, "What changed?" Chat Noir stepped closer, pinning her against the railing of her balcony. The moonlight highlighted the dark ridges of his mask and his green eyes shone through the dark leather, as equally enticing and mesmerizing as they'd been that night they danced on the Eiffel Tower. "I'm a cat, Mari." he whispered. He wrapped his arms around her waist and the heat from his body made her shiver in the cold. She pressed her palms against his chest and his warm breath ruffled her fringe. Chat offered her a small smile, her heart hammering in her chest. "And sometimes..." he dipped his head down to hers. "We cats tend to stray." ~~~ While out one night in the park, Chat Noir finds Marinette and tries to escort her home safely. But she's injured protecting him from an akuma and he feels responsible for her. Intent on making it up to her, Chat Noir visits her regularly to make sure she's doing well. But it doesn't take long before their meetings become more than just casual check-ups. Bad things happen when superheroes fall for civilians, but even with the threat of Hawk Moth looming around, Chat can't seem to stay away. Will the risks be worth it in the end? Because this cat's curious, And his bad luck might just start catching up to him... Minor Adrienette and LadyNoir. Based off the events of season one only and set two years in the future. Monsieur Paon kneels beside me, ignoring my question, and as he raises his hand, I flinch-fully expecting him to hit me-but he gently touches my forehead. "You're bleeding," He points out. "W-What?" I ask, confused. I stare up at him. Why isn't he hurting me? Sure, he doesn't know I'm Ladybug (so technically I'm not an enemy right now), but he's partners with Miss Farfalle-who likes to wreak chaos in this city-so any bystander is an enemy worth fighting, right? "Are you okay?" I ignore the pain as I sit up and ask him, "What's wrong with you?" He laughs. "Excuse me?" "I know who you are, Monsieur Paon. You're that new villain attacking Paris," I remind him. "Why are you being nice to me?" Monsieur Paon stands and offers his hand. "Would you rather I wasn't? Do you want me to treat you like those two men did?" I glance back at them and before I can ask, he adds, "I didn't kill them-although they'd deserve it and I'm sure your boyfriend would agree with me-in case you were wondering." I stare up at Monsieur Paon. If he were going to hurt me, he'd have let those two men carry on with what they were planning. He wouldn't have gone through the trouble of saving me... right? - - - Adrien hasn't been the same since that unforgettable day six months ago-defeating Hawkmoth, his mother waking up, and three miraculous being stolen, including his own.
