Monsieur Paon kneels beside me, ignoring my question, and as he raises his hand, I flinch-fully expecting him to hit me-but he gently touches my forehead. "You're bleeding," He points out. "W-What?" I ask, confused. I stare up at him. Why isn't he hurting me?
