Sisters Of Sacrifice

The life of a Raven Sister consisted of glittering gowns, lavish parties, royal acquaintances, and inescapable death.

The lavish life of a Sister was not all that it seemed. The extravagance was a cover-up, a way to make people forget about the harsh truth. Behind the smiles and the laughter, darkness and despair lurked. For there was only one thing a Raven Sister was supposed to do, and that was die.
Her sole purpose was to give up her life at age eighteen to the merciless country of Aveeria, to prevent a mass slaughtering of her country. Underneath her makeup and gown, she was nothing more than a mere sacrifice.

All of their lives, Evlyn and her fellow Sisters knew their destiny. No matter how hard they tried to escape it, death would always come for them. No matter what they did, they would always end up meeting the same fate.

As the days pass and it grows closer to the night of the Blood Moon, the night they are to be sacrificed, dark and unnerving secrets begin to unravel, secrets about the world Evlyn knows, and about the country she is to be given up for. Perhaps the heroic and magical story of her's and her Sister's sacrifice is darker and much more twisted than it is remembered to be.

And so is, as she is soon to find out, life after death.
