This story is a Fanfiction of the Hunger Games Trilogy and it's worldscape, focusing on Finnick's FUTURE love interest, Scarlet Wolfe. This book is set BEFORE Finnick and Scarlet become romantic. This is the story that introduces us to Scarlet (OC), who will become Finnick's FOREVER LOVE. The Taste of Death lays the foundation for their blooming friendship, loyalty, and love.

Lastly, in reference to the Original Hunger Games Trilogy, this book takes place during the events that occurred in the 2-3 years following Finnick winning his own Hunger Games. This story takes place BEFORE the original HUNGER GAMES. While The Original Trilogy may be appropriate for teen viewers, this book IS NOT and will explore darker themes (read the tags and trigger warnings)
