The Vietnam War has been raging for nine years. An American troop is sent to protect 15-year-old Khôi Luồng's village. The village is bombed a year later, killing nearly everyone Khôi ever knew. In 1966, he joins the Navy, determined to avenge South Vietnam, his home, his people, with his own blood. Amidst the war, he somehow finds brotherhood, laughter, and even forbidden love. 1975, Sài Gòn. Lieutenant Luồng makes his final salute, as he whispers, "𝘊ô𝘯𝘨 𝘋â𝘯 ơ𝘪... 𝘊ô𝘯𝘨 𝘋â𝘯 ơ𝘪..." And the citizens of the years to come call out his name in return.

Recurrence: Operation Jungle Fever
To ensure evil never sees the light of day, there has to be those who are willing to sacrifice it all. Follow along with the narrator with his recap of his time in the Vietnam War, where he experienced more than the average mind can begin to comprehend. The narrator spent most of his time during the war in combat, fighting the relentless enemy and experiencing some of the worst that Vietnam has to offer. Due to his combat experience, he picks up the interest of the CIA where they recruit him for a Classified operation. This proves however, to be more than he bargained for as the operation goes on, they learn that there is a sinister plot that is waiting to be revealed. A new danger is introduced testing the narrator's capabilities and slowly eating away at his sanity that would last for years to come. It is 1914, and Henry Anderson is watching the world descend into war. Like many young men at the time, he is fascinated by the idea of warfare and glory. Henry enlists in the military against his parents' wishes and throws himself into the life of a British soldier in Flanders. But it is far from what he expects: Henry's fantasies of righteous battle fade into the grim reality of gruesome death and shell-shock. He and his fellow soldier Jacob must help each other survive the cruel trenches, but it is no longer certain that either of them will return to England alive. Told in journal entries and letters from Henry's sister Elizabeth, this reveals the realities and horrors of World War I, on the battlefield and in the homefront. I wrote this for a history project while studying WWI and got way too involved in it, so here you are. WARNINGS: gun/bomb/gas-related violence, war descriptions, graphic death, suicide attempt. I will mark specific chapters with warnings and give summaries of those chapters on the following one. These may not be complete, so if a chapter is not marked and should be, please comment to let me know. Written in 2019 (age 15).

He woke up in a hospital, doesn't know why he's there, doesn't know who he is, doesn't even know how he got there, and he's got a real bad headache. He's got a head wound the size of a baseball, he can't see with his right eye, and no matter how hard he tries, he can't get a straight answer for anything, except that mineshaft workers found him crystalized and immediately flew him to the 'hospital.' Nobody could figure out how long he was in the crystal, and the only thing he could remember was his name. I really hope you enjoy! Like my previous books, I haven't gotten a cover for it but I'm working on it:)
