''You think I'm like the other women? !'' She raised her finger at him.

That rather seemed to have angered him the more. He swatted her finger away from his face and stood dangerously close to her. ''No one ever points their finger at me'' he gritted out, harboring the same hard expression as hers.

She smirked. ''Oh really, Valdez? If so then consider this the first time someone is doing that'' she raised her finger again. ''Especially, since it's coming from a woman''

He raised an eyebrow, quite impressed by her confidence. ''You have such a huge ego don't you? ''

She kept silent, tearing her gaze from him and looking out the window. She wasn't here to answer questions, he had something of hers and she was here only to get it back.

''Give me back my documents'' she demanded.

''You want them badly, don't you? '' he sat on the desk, raking his eyes up and down her body.

Stupid man!

''Stop looking at me and give me what I want! '' she snapped.

He was taken aback by her tone of voice. ''Such, confidence, such ego. I can't wait to bring it down. ''

''Shut up Valdez! '' she ordered him, stepping really close to him. She placed both hands on his shoulder, her face really close to his.

She had no fear, and he was letting her have her way. No one especially a woman has the right to ever speak to him like that and yet, here she was, doing just that, he was impressed.

''Give me those documents'' she gritted out.

He wrapped his arms round her back and pulled her close. ''Are you ordering me? ''His voice dropped an octave.

She was surprised at his gesture but did nothing to show how her body was slowly starting to react to his touch.
''Consider it that way''

His eyes, they looked more beautiful than any I've ever seen. The sparkle in them showed the vulnerability that was eating at him. The eruption its evoking. I've seen people look at me with almost the same emotion but not his. He reaffirmed his wrapped arm around me with a tight grip. "You're my weakness, Hazel. You've possessed my every inch..every part of me wants to submit to you, Hazel, I want to-" he said hoarsely, as if the tight hold on me wasn't enough, he used his other hand to remove the strand of my hair from my face and tagged it at the back of my ears. I gulped and my eyes shut as if their eternal thirst is being quenched. I was suddenly enveloped by a flick of the memories I wanted to keep buried. Dave and I "Don't you get it?...Don't you fucking get Everly?" he raised his voice, his eyes look scary and intimidating while his finger pointed to me "Every man loves you, they all want you. Whoever gets you have to worship you because, he doesn't wanna to loose you. Thats when he has to do all that you say, all you want, just to please you, but you know what?-" his evil grin appeared from nowhere, "-I'm never gonna do that." "You never get anything for me on any special day, not even my birthday and you're talking about doing things to please me?" I'd snapped back. "Of course, I don't-and I won't because I don't want you to be my weakness. I don't want you to be my fucking Weakness, my damn weakness, Everly. I. do. not. need. that-" He'd literally spelt his last words while pointing his shaky finger towards me with dreadful look in his eyes. "-I can't please you.I have alot going on. A CEO of a huge company like me doesn't need a weakness like you. You have to submit to me anyhow.-" He had said with a calm dead serious tone.

❝Bhoot pret nikat nahi aavey, Mahavir jab naam sunavey...❞ It was late at night, when I heard a knock on the window. I froze hearing the knock. Slowly, I got up from my study table and tiptoed toward my bed, trying to decide if I should check the window. But something told me not to, so I climbed on the bed instead. I'm not opening that window. I know how in horror movies, the main character hears some creepy noise and runs straight towards it. Like hello? do they not care there could be a whole-ass ghost waiting to jump on them? Another knock. I squeezed my eyes shut, gripping the blanket tightly. If this is how I die, I swear I'm haunting the ghost back. I was on the verge of running to wake up my parents when I heard a sneeze and then... my name whispered slowly. "Pratiksha." It clicked in an instant. Oh god! I shot up from the bed, hurriedly unlocking and opening the window. Before I could even react, he tumbled through and fell directly on the floor with a thud. I gasped in shock, half laughing but also panicking at the sight of him in my room. "How did you-" I started to ask, but he quickly clamped his hand over my mouth. I stared at him. He leaned in closer and whispered, "Don't make noise, or we'll both be in trouble." What. Is. Happening. ~~~ If overthinking was a sport, she would have won every time. He, on the other hand, one moment, he was the smoothest guy around. The next, he was doing something completely silly just for fun. Together, they were like a perfect mess. But a twist of destiny tore them apart. Six years later, they met again, the love that once bloomed was now buried under layers of hatred, from both sides. Could they move past the hurt, the anger and the six years that had turned them into stranger?

"C- Can you move b- back a little?" My words made him smirk and if it's even possible, he came closer. Why do I always have to stuck between him and the desk?! "Why? Am I making you nervous?" "No." I lied. Ofcourse, he was making me nervous. His eyes had the power to hold a person on his place and that's what his eyes were doing to me. "Really?" He asked, putting his hands on my waist and pulling me closer towards him. On instinct, I put my hands on his chest. I didn't like it. I didn't like the way my body was responding to his touches. "T- This is un- unprofessional." I choked out the words, but I wish I couldn't have. He brought his face closer, so close that I could feel his minty breath on my lips. My lips parted accordingly in shock. "Oh, is it?" He said, mockingly. Oh god! What have I gotten myself into? •••• Aaron Steele, the CEO of the multi billionaire Steele's Company was the eligible bachelor of 25. He always had his way among girls and having blue eyes, a chiseled jaw and a hot body, didn't help either. With new woman on her arms every other day, he was obviously not planning on falling on that cliché word also called love, but would his thoughts of not falling in love still remain the same, after meeting her? Sienna Collins was a girl of 22 with extremely shy personality. After completing her graduation, the only thing in her mind was to get a good job and settle on her own, but what she didn't expected was a job at Steele's Company. This is a story of the innocent and the sinful. Read inside to find out what happens when two persons from exactly opposite worlds collide together. #I would suggest 14+ to read this story as some part in the book contains mature scenes. ~ # 37 in Romance #12 in humor *I am not a grammer nazzy, so there would be grammatical mistakes.*

"So, let me get this straight. You stomped all over his paperwork?" She started. "Not intentionally, but yes," I confirmed it. "Threw a drink in his face?" She added. "Expensive red wine." I described. "Rammed into his car with yours deliberately?" she counted on her third finger. "Um...I'm not proud of that one," I said cringing. "And called him offensive names?" She ended the list and I winced. "Twice." I specified. "And you're still alive?" She blinked, looking genuinely surprised. "Geez, don't be dramatic or anything..." I frowned at her hyperbolic statement. "Maybe he's keeping you around to get revenge." She suggested. Possible. I wouldn't put it past him. "I didn't know alright!" I exclaimed. "Let's hope that excuse is acceptable.." She was merely amused. "Working with my new boss is going to be a piece of work." ** Synopsis: When the CEO of Signature Heights: Jensen Black, and a stubborn employee: Alexandra Brook, clash, it's a battle of wits & a war of perseverance. "You're staring at him again," Valentina sighs. "Hm?" I responded, not catching on to what Valentina was inferring. She tugs on my arm and shakes her head, chuckling. "You were staring at Mateo." She takes a sip of her coffee, looking up at me. "I'm not," I reply, "I was just daydreaming in his direction, it's his fault for sitting there." "Then why was there that look on your face just now?" "What?" I turn to her and she raises an eyebrow, "What look, Val?" "You look a certain way when you see him," Val pauses, to turn towards Mateo who was laughing at some joke Diego made, "You look at him as if he's some sort of new high-tech gun." "And?" Valentina sips her coffee, grinning at me, "You love guns." Maliyah is a tough nut to crack.
