Luke-Caleb Rivers was the type of guy that didn't want to be like other guys, or for this case 'the bad boys'. He was the type who was very nice, loyal and takes up with anyone just because it felt like his job. All girls he dated heart-broke him every time, that's exactly when he met Heather Middleton. She was so different from other girls and so gorgeous, Luke fell in love with her. Then as the story goes on, Luke finds his way to change Heather's life and eventually find her way to fall in love with him.
