The sirens wailed in the background as the smoke climbed higher into the air. Everyone was screaming and running away from a collapsing skyscraper. In the dust of the skyscraper was those dreadful blue eyes speeding towards us. I gave one last look to Shawn, his grey eyes still make me feel safe, even in the darkest of times. He grinned and wiped the blood from his mouth with newfound determination. I smiled and raised my sword as well. Everyone was behind me still and smirked.
