A long time ago, a nine-tailed demon fox was set free by an evil man to wreak havoc. Its target was Konohagakure, a powerful ninja village in the Land of Fire, one of the Five Great Shinobi Countries. The demon fox was sealed by the Fourth Hokage into two human vessels: Uzukami Naruto, and... Namikaze Kaname.
Unlike Naruto who grew up in the village, Kaname grew up with one of the legendary Sannin, Tsunade. One day, Tsunade decided that she had had enough of Kaname's nonsense, and dumped her at the gates of Konoha despite her protests. Will she be able to form the bonds she desires, or will she be ostracized like Naruto?
