Havastrid has just come of age. He is 12 years old, he's a descendant of the King of Summervale who was the first to kill a Dragon. Havastrid discovers that Dragons aren't evil or mindless, they just need to survive. While a herd of Dragons come to Summervale, one Dragon takes Havastrid to a Dragonlord School where he learns magic and gets his own Dragon.
This is just going to be the first five chapters, until the four main characters are introduced. I would very much like comments on your opinions, and if these chapters need editing.

started late 2017, completed as of the 27th of December, 2019. it's old and messy but it was my first proper story that I worked hard on and finished :) Tsaganari is almost definitely the last adult dragon alive. All sixteen hatchlings are her responsibility and dragonkind's future. But, these dragonets didn't hatch normally. They're bloodthirsty and animalistic, motivated by primal instinct. They hardly resemble the proud and complex dragons of the past, with intricate societies and ever-growing knowledge. It all would've worked out if it wasn't for humans.
