Long ago two races ruled earth, humans and monsters. One day war broke out between the two races, now take a seat and let me tell you the tale, a tale about the determined humans, and strong willed monsters
There weren't many differences between us monsters and humans, are traditions and cultures are pretty much the same, with some differences here and there. but the biggest difference is are souls. Humans have strong sturdy souls with determination and many other traits, but monster souls are extremely different, monster souls are colorless and very weak compared to human souls. A human could, with enough strength and LOVE (Level Of Violence), could easily kill a monster with ease. But the year 804x BCE a murdered human was found outside a monster village. Humans who usually jump to conclusions quickly blamed the monsters for the murder but some humans defended the monsters saying they were to weak to kill a human, monsters insulted on both sides tried to stay out of the crime but the king, King Asgore Dreemurr decided to work with the human leaders to find the murderer. Even if it is a monster he made a promise to find the criminal.

On the disaster of a planet, creatures mutated and were born out of the nuclear chemicals; creating new species and monsters that hunted humans. While hundreds and hundreds of years passed, the monsters kept evolving and the people kept adapting while still trying to keep a sort of community. They didn't want to lose all of their humanity and become nothing more than animals that hunted the monsters: then they would truly be no better than the monsters themselves.
