The cold wind blew harshly making my cheeks sting. Hugging my heavy coat closer, I continued to walk. The storm only got worse, I couldn't go on. 'this is how I'll die.' I thought to myself, then blacking out.

His Letterman Jacket
~ 10 part series ~ - The night was chilly and the frost bite bit at my nose. I crinkled it in response to the freezing cold as snow powdered all around my aching body. The ground was soft but lightly damp from the condensation on the tips of the grass blades that dig into my skin. I looked down at the embroidered letters and patches on it that made me realize he was part of a sports team at our school.
