Dena Is lost. Around age 8 she loses her memory. Left for dead by some dumpsters. she is taken to the hospital but no one knows who she is. With no one looking for her, she is thrown into the system. All she has is a yellow ribbon and nightmares of what little she remembers.
Now she is 15 living in yet another foster home. while she tries to make a life all of her own, two new kids show up to her school who instantly want to befriend her.
who is this new kid? Why have they taken an interest in Dena? and will she be able to find her own past, or will she make a new life for her future?

when I started this story I had no idea the ideas that would come to me while working at my 10-hour job and man this whole story has kinda been flipped in my mind. she still was kidnapped when she was nine but it won't take place in a school. and it will be more in Aiden's Pov. I want to leave this one up since it helped me come up with the story that can and will be.
when I started writing this I had no plot or directions now have the whole plot outlined and am excited to be working on my first ever book!!! It will have a different name since sadly this one might not work for the story :( please help me figure out a better name! right now the name is going to be "Looking For Her" :)

After a few silent minutes, our cell door opens slowly. From the ball of light from the ceiling, the little girl in the doorway is illuminated. She is completely covered in blood and doesn't move. Then she opens her eyes and carefully walks towards us. And despite everything, my first impulse is to crawl backwards, away from the unnatural calm radiating from her. ------------- After reading yet another great older brothers/younger sister story, where the family gets reunited after years of separation, the sister keeps the secret that she was abused and assaulted all along, and the brothers conceal their work in the mafia, I decided to give it also a try. The output of my story was initially to turn this around with openness and unconditional support and the torture should happen right in front of their very eyes. Because no story is complete without the (un)necessary bloodshed, action, humour and, of course, a bad guy. And who knows, to throw everything completely upside down, the main character may not survive.
