"Lips pulled in a permanent smile
I happily put on the façade
Hoping I can deceive everyone
Probably one day, I could deceive myself
Some people ask how I'm doing
And I reply with the smile still in place
Hoping they would look into my eyes
And see the lonely prisoner within
The smile they see hides so much pain
My pillow would know since it soaks all the tears
I wish I could scream it out
But no one wants to hear
They are content with the smile on my face
And perhaps I will learn to be content too."

"Go to sleep already. Good night, I love you," my mom said while closing the door of my room. Damn. It's one of those nights again, huh. Tch. I twisted an turned on my bed. Can't seem to find a good spot again. *sigh* I gave up and just stared at the ceiling. I got my cellphone from under my pillow and scrolled through instagram and hoped that it would make me somewhat sleepier. Blah blah blah this. Blah blah blah that. Damn, can't get sleep whatsoever. I don't want to do this but this leaves me no choice. "(Hey B, are you there?)" I spoke inside my mind. "(About damn time you gave up~ haha~ can't sleep, princess?)" the voice replied back. Wave (Book 2)
I had survived the first. That was then; this is now. The blindfold of so many pills slowly died away and first though my finger then my head, a passion, a hurt and a need filled me as every moment was consumed with words; every breath with wisps of ink. But they were not all captured and somewhere in the deep abyss of living, lies the unspoken, almost unfelt feelings of decades in months. This is the half-empty account off all those nights from December through into the new year and the end of March. ...I pains me to share it. But it also makes it just not my problem anymore and that is something I long for- freedom and peace.
