Excerpt From Chapter 1
Gareth soon reached the entrance of the academy. He soon started walking normally inside the academy as running in the entrances were forbidden. He found himself staring at the beautiful cherry trees and their petals that fell. "I'm at home" Gareth said to himself as he stared in awe at the beautiful scene.
"They look really nice don't they?" Gareth heard. He soon looked at a person standing beside him no more than 2 meters apart. It was a girl that looked like she was the same age as Gareth. She had short hair and looked cute she had beautiful green eyes that wouldve shined at night. Gareth Blushed for a moment and ran off leaving the girl to wonder why he had just ran off into the distance. "That was close." Gareth said as he panted from all the running. He was lucky no one caught him running. He soon heard the bells ringing signalling him to start going to class. "Huh, first class is English i suppose" Gareth said to himself. He went to start his classes and noticed the girl he met in the entrances was there.

"She's right! She's right! I don't cut in the right spot." My hold tightens on my wrist. The red blood oozes out of my wrist. I slide up and grab my bag and run out of the bathroom. I don't care if people can see the blood I just want to get out. I race for the doors and shove through people. I earn a lot of glares and glances that read "weirdo." I ignore and push. I run to my house and lock myself in my bathroom. I don't bother closing the front door cause I don't care if people come in to kill me. I had scrapped so many ideas (that I only really wrote a few chapters of) that when I was older enough to realize the story I had going so far sucked, I didn't want to scrap again, so I finished for that sake in a span of 3 years (and ended in 2014). I stumble backwards slightly before a hand wraps around my waist, keeping me from falling. Looking up, I realize this wasn't a wall, but instead a very attractive male. A very messy, but definitely sexy, mop of black hair sat on top of his head. When I looked closer, I realized that it was a deep shade of brown that was probably often mistaken for black. My gaze traveled to his eyes, where I found two deep ocean blue eyes looking at me. I kept going further down to his too crooked nose to be called straight, which I assumed came from too many fights. His skin was tanned, but an olive tone suggested he had a natural darker complexion to begin with. My eyes finally found his pink, very plump lips which were resting slightly open. His lips jerked up into a lopsided sneer as his hand snapped back to his side. The sudden movement left my back cold, as if his palm had been a source of warmth. "You've got to be kidding me!" His tone dripped with disgust. My eyes turned to questioning as I looked back up into his eyes. I brought my hand up to rub my nose, squinting at the slight pain. "What the hell." He grumbled. "I, Jay Julian, reject you as my mate." He, or Jay, said with venom lacing his voice. He quickly turned and walked down the now vacant hallway with no glance back. Rejection? What the hell was that? Was it some sort of local lingo? How did I get rejected on my first day? The first person I make eye contact with at this school rejects me. I guess that's how this school works, if the hottest boy in school rejects you, you're a nobody. If that's how this small town school worked, then I was screwed.
