Being named "Justice" isn't as easy as one would have thought especially if you specialize in the Art of War. However, that's how things seem to be for Astraea Twine, Commander in Chief of the armies of Ecarlious.
Since long, Astraea has taken a blind eye to the pull of guilt. After all, doesn't the greater good always win? Yet, Astraea can't help but doubt the crown's power... and intentions.
For far too long, too many wrongdoings have been done, staining her hands bloody. Too many lives taken for the mere greed of the crown.
Slowly regrets began to devour her, piece by piece... Those innocent lives slaughtered. Children and elders both, burn. Life to ash. Warm to cold. Simple as that.
As Astraea begins to doubt the lines of friends and foes, a price comes about. The crowd hears the news...of her betrayal.
Now no longer the once respected Commander, but rather the treacherous traitor. No longer does she serve injustice, no longer will she cower in the presence of the crown. Together with many newly founded allies, her conquest to a better world begins.
Perhaps, even love is possible, the one thing that could ruin all. Yet so strong, enough to unite us all.
In the world of where magic and power rules all, one cannot hope but to surrender.

And thus forward will the dance of life and death begin.
