Wahrscheinlich wie ein schlechter Film,bis zu dem Tag an dem sich alles ändern sollte, ihr 17.Geburtstag.Jades Leben stand nie unter einem besonders guten Stern. Ihre Kindheit war alles andere als wünschenswert und auch ansonsten hatte sie nie besonders Glück gehabt. Doch an ihrem Geburtstag sollte sich ihr Schicksal zum positiven verändern, denn ihr größter Wunsch ist in Erfüllung gegangen..
Welcher Wunsch wahr geworden ist,erfahrt ihr wenn ihr bis zum Ende der Geschichte lest.

It's very close to my heart. It was my first fanfiction EVER, and I used it as a platform to write about a great deal of insecurities in my "real" life. So, most of the stuff you read about Bao is actually about me (unsurprisingly). 2. I wrote part of it about five years ago and finished it more recently, so there is a (relatively) dramatic shift in style about halfway in. I think the first parts are ehhh but it gets really fine tuned by the end.
