"Jefferson, what's this?" I frowned, glancing over the chained woman standing beside him.

"A peace offering, maybe a little incentive to stir on the compromises in the debate we had the other day." Thomas replied, as if it were obvious.

"This is a human being, not a book. You can't just give them away-"

"Actually, I can. Property is property, and I think this one will be to your liking. She's well trained, but rather... mute. No use to me." I watched as he pushed her forward, causing her to fall to her knees at my feet. She barely made a sound.

"Does she have a name?"

"Call her what you wish. It doesn't matter. She can't correct you." Jefferson said, shrugging it off.

Do I Really Hate Him? (Lafayette x Reader) [DISCONTINUED] by Artzee_Dorito
13 parts Complete
"You've gotta move out soon, Lafayette. You're so annoying to have to put up with." "Oh, I'M annoying? Heh. Your dad must not have told you. You're nothing less than a burden, (Y/N)." "I hate you, Lafayette." "I hate you more, (Y/N). Trust me." *** After America won the war, Lafayette realized he had nowhere to go. With the little amount of money in his pockets, he couldn't sail to France and buy a house there. Or anywhere. He hated his parents for making him live on his own after the war was over. Lafayette began to turn to close friends and asked them if he could live with them until be had enough money to buy a house of his own. They all refused. Finally, as a last resort, he turned to his ex-commander, George Washington, and his daughter (if you're a dude, you can change this), (Y/N). The Washingtons and Marquis de Lafayettes were close, so Lafayette knew Washington would say yes. Well, most of the Washingtons and Marquis de Lafayettes were close. Lafayette and (Y/N), however, weren't. Ever since they met (which was when they were, like, six, on a vacation to France the Washingtons were on), they seemed to be fighting all the time. They couldn't stand each other. Both of them began to dread the frequent visits of the two families. So you can imagine (Y/N)'s devastation when her dad agreed to let Lafayette stay for as long as he needed. What would happen? I mean, with two enemies in one house, anything could happen.

I put on the uniform and damn, I looked good. I found an easy band-aid and wrapped it over my chest, which made it smaller. My hair was in a tight bun, I pulled the collar a bit higher and exhaled. I'm going to a freaking war now. The shoes didn't fit right, but I'll find some in Washington's room. ~ - 'Time' is a short word with a big meaning. It may be impossible in this reality but there are more than one and somewhere in this big ass universe.. well, there is a chance. So you should take it! - A Y/N story without Y/N. Anyway, if you don't like it don't read it.
