How She Got To Camp Jupiter:
Penelope Orion, 4, was attacked during the National Junior Soccer League (NJSL) championship in California. People raced out of the stadium in a panic, separating her from her older sister, Maya, 17. The monster leaped after Penelope and she ran as fast and as far as she could away from it. After running for some time, she ran into a boy, whom she immediately grew attached to, and clung onto his shirt tightly, crying. The boy held her tight and grabbed a sword that she hadn't seen when she ran into him. He stood up and swung the golden weapon and, in one swift hit, the creature disintegrated into black dust. The kid sheathed his sword and carried her away from the dust, humming softly, trying to calm her down. Penelope must've dozed off, cause when she woke up, she found herself in a bed next to the boy who was asleep. Happy that she was away from the thing that had chased her, she buried her head in the boy's chest and fell back to sleep.

I could give you a sob story about how tough Cressida Lynn's life has been, but you're not here for that. You're not here to hear about how terrible her mother treated her and how she only got her first birthday present at age nine or how no one outside her cabin liked her. No. You're here to hear about how her life changed the summer of her 12th birthday. The summer when Poseidon's son came crashing through the camp borders after he'd killed the Minotaur. You're here to hear about how they found the Lightning Thief. You're here to hear about how they ventured through the Sea of Monsters. You're here to hear about how they withstood the Titan's Curse. You're here to hear about how they fought in the Battle of the Labyrinth. You're here to hear about how they defended the Last Olympian. However, I must warn you that this journey is not for the faint-hearted for each quest is more treacherous than the last. And it is most certainly not for mortals. But, should you find yourself feeling brave, should you be a demigod in a past life, a present life or a future one, then I invite you to join me on this adventure. #1 in hades #1 in greekgodsandgoddesses #1 in lukecastellan #1 in titanwar #1 in dionysus #1 in pjofandom #4 in zeus #4 in seaofmonsters #9 in kronos #10 in labyrinth #12 in percyjacksonandtheolympians #17 in greekmythology #23 in annabethchase #36 in poseidon (Lightning Thief - Last Olympian) (Disclaimer: All rights go to the legendary Rick Riordan, I only own Cressida and any original scenes and dialogue I've written.) PLEASE READ THE REWRITE INSTEAD OF THIS. THIS IS ONLY UP UNTIL THE REWRITE IS COMPLETED. PLEASE READ THE REWRITE TO PREVENT LOSING THE BOOK BEFORE YOU'RE DONE. Veronica Westcourt didn't like Camp Half-Blood. She didn't like the fact that she hadn't left in years, or that her father, Dionysus, was so overprotective. She didn't like how others had so many friends and besides her siblings, she only talked to a few girls. She didn't like certain people, especially Percy Jackson. It was that simple. Veronica didn't like Percy, and it was clear that the feeling was at least partially mutual. She didn't like his blonde friend, either. She didn't like many people he associated himself with. But she really didn't like him. So when she ends up on a quest with him, she's less than thrilled. Eventually, she caves and talks to him. This leads to walls being broken, people being broken, and more things being broken. Veronica did always have a gift for making people go crazy. Maybe this time, she could find herself going crazy... though perhaps a different kind of crazy. Book Two - 'In the centre of the city, the depths call forth The blessed princess must heed its call to uncover the truth of the bargain made Or with the thief she shall stay to the end of days' - "Nothing will go wrong, we'll just sail into the Roman Camp, tell them what's up and begin the quest. Simple." "Being a demigod is never that simple, Valdez." "When you're with me, everything is simple." - "Everything okay, Princesa?" Leo whispered. She shook her head to clear the fog that had settled and turned to him. Leo saw pure panic in her eyes, and his brows furrowed in concern. "Everything's fine." She convinced. Leo didn't buy it. Nor did she. - "You said whenever I need you." "Whenever you need me, Amor." - "Everything is how it should be. She told me, she told me everything. This is what must happen. And you're going to be hers. You are the downfall of the world. You need to be the downfall she wants. You will be the extra." - "So, you found out your truth." The voice spoke "For years you wondered why. Why your supposed loving mother did this to you. To your little family." the voice continued. It seemed to echo all around her. "And now you know." - "Her ring, there's a button, it'll tell Leo she needs help-" A sharp wail echoed around the small stone room around them. "No, he's gone!" She sobbed. "He- he won't answer. I tried, I tried everything. I can't-" - "Persephone it's hurting you, stop using them." "No, they make me stronger." She turned her back to him, the burn in her eyes intensifying as she clawed more of that new feeling, the new power, into her. It seemed to run like lightning through her veins, and Percy watched as the scratches deepened. Her eyes were dark and empty, and Percy felt nothing but fear. - (Takes place during The Mark of Athena, book three of the Heroes of Olympus series) (As always, all characters belong to Rick Riordan, Persephone and her own plotline are purely my creation)
