It's been five years since Alice saw the outside world. She's been trapped in many cells, as they moved her across the U.S. to find new people to turn into bloodsuckers so they can rebuild their clan. As well as covering up the murders done by the newborn vampires. They were the new generation of hybrids and test subjects. Kane used his and Alice's blood to turn humans and other creatures into blood-sucking killers. Through all the hardships Alice has suffered over the years, she finds comfort in a newly formed friendship. Sophia is the only clan member Alice talks to. Not that it bothered her to stay silent, after all, Alice had spent most of her life in silence, up until recently that is. It wasn't like she had another option. Sophia is the only friend she has now because they took her away from Anna and Tate. Alice misses them a lot, and dreams about them often. She just wishes she knew if they felt the same. Alice knew it was easier to find Anna because they wanted her to find her. However, she hoped that they would've come for her by now. If anyone could save her, it had to be herself. With the help of Sophia, who also wanted out of the clan, they had been planning to escape. They could only hope they were ready for what was to come. Things are different now. Alice was different. In a way, she felt more powerful, yet drained at the same time. All she knew was that blood would be shed, once she is free from her prison. They will pay for what they did. She knew the first place they would look for Alice was her hometown. This means she needs to get there fast to find the others, and put many miles between them and those who would hunt her down. Just until they end this once and for all.

(BOOK TWO) Ever feel like you're being followed. You would be with your friends and see a person staring at you from the corner of your eye. The first time you just shrug it off, but the more you began to see him the more you get scared. You try to deny it by telling yourself that you need more sleep or that it was just a trick from you brain, but it isn't. No matter what you tell yourself it won't go away. He will still be there, he will still follow and you will still scream if you see him in your house one day. Now you can go to someone and tell them about the person who is following you. They will probably arrest them and you will be save from him for a while, but here's the thing. The only different between you and me is that the person is following you is probably human, but mine is a ghost and you can't escape something that can go anywhere he wants to go with getting seen by other people.
