Zaros

Teagan Caston and her family live in a quaint little town on the island of Zaros, a small island discovered of the coast of Africa 159 years ago (3413 A.D). She was just an ordinary 17 year old girl when her father made The Discovery. Now, her life is filled with mystery and myth as new people move into her little neighborhood, and she is determined to find out their secret. Will she be safe once she learns the secret of a boy at her school, or will it cost her her life, or will she discover something dark and malicious about her past, and learn something about her parents that she never knew?

This book is rated R. There will be mature material, such as swearing, sex, and a very small rape scene, but it is necessary for the book and in no way do I condone the last one. I just find it necessary for the plot, as there is a purpose for it. I will not pot them in separate chapters from the book because that would interupt the flow too much, but I will put two rows of * before and after so that you may skip it if you wish (both consensual and non-consensual).

Parents of children who choose to read this book, I have rated it R for a reason, but that will not stop children from reading the content, so I will not take responsibility if your child reads it. They made the choice. The rape scene will be somewhat brutal, so please make sure they don't read it unless you just don't care.
