"I plan on taking control of the Five Great Nations. All other smaller nations will have no choice but to submit or be destroyed." God of War charts the ruthless rise of Gyatsō Mataba, a figure born from the chaos and despair of the Second Great Ninja War. Once a timid, compassionate child from the Hidden Grass Village, he is forever transformed by the horrors he witnessed - his innocence shattered, replaced by an unrelenting thirst for power. As the scars of war fester, Gyatsō evolves into one of the most feared and tyrannical dictators in history, reshaping the ninja world in his image. From the ashes of the past, he rises to carve a path of destruction, forcing even the mightiest nations to tremble under his will.
