Skyler Reves is a sixteen year old evolved human or evolk who's been imprisoned and on her way to certain execution for her crimes against The United Nations of America.  When a mysterious explosion occurs, she awakens on an island in the middle of the ocean surrounded by strangers. Skyler along with other evolks have to survive and find a way to escape. The island reveals the truth about the government, and each other, but it might be Skyler who's hiding the biggest secret of them all.

It's only a matter of time until it happens again. This time by a group of people that no one expected. Together they work to find out the truth, but things have gotten worse over the last century and this may not only bring around the downfall of the government. Armed only the powers they were born with, the group do everything they can to discover the truth, the whole truth and nothing but the truth. But many have tried and failed, do they really stand a chance? Alexander doesn't think so, but his main concern is finding his sister, Rosia.

Things take a turn for the worst when a tragic accident leads to the deaths of most of the scientists. The teens are now mostly by themselves, stuck on an island, with dangers lurking at every corner. Just because they have powers doesn't mean that they're invincible.
