Gordo's life is growing dark by various trials. He becomes bitter, lonely and depressed after he feels rejected by Lizzie and his relationship with his parents. Losing hope in love, Gordo keeps his heart guarded and won't open it to anyone; not even his parents.

Miranda, who hates seeing her best friend that way, tries getting to his level to experience how he feels. She is determined to show him that there IS someone out there willing to give him all of their love. And when he's with her, his heart is safe from harm.

Can Gordo break his guarded heart and re-open it to something new? Will someone take him away from all of his pain?
